Chatham Turkey Trot

The Chatham Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning and is a 5k (3.1 miles) run/walk event. What better way to start the day than with outdoor exercise before your Thanksgiving feast? Meet at the corner of Stage Harbor and Main Street, Chatham, MA. All monetary donations for the event go to the Lower Cape Outreach Council.
Garden Aglow
November 25 – December 23, 2022
On varying nights, tickets must be purchased in advance
Garden Aglow at the Heritage Museum and Gardens is a series of outdoor festive light displays you can walk through. Roast marshmallows by a campfire, enjoy lawn games and grab a bite to eat from Lilly’s Café or the Cape Cod Donut Truck.
59th Annual Falmouth Christmas Parade
December 4, 2022 | 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Did you know that the Christmas Parade in Falmouth is the largest in all of southeast New England? View numerous festively decorated floats, marching bands, Santa, holiday characters, and more during the parade. The parade starts at Dillingham Avenue and Davis Straits and then goes along Main Street to Village Green. Bring a chair and a thermos of hot chocolate!
Chatham’s Christmas by the Sea Stroll Weekend
December 9 -11, 2022
If you want to get into the holiday spirit, attend Chatham’s Christmas by the Sea Stroll Weekend. There will be a light parade around downtown, the annual tree lighting ceremony, plenty of caroling, a visit from Santa, and more. Local businesses and restaurants will be open during this event! Stop in for special holiday sales and deals. Shopping local for holiday gifts is always a more personal and fun experience.
First Light Provincetown
December 30, 2022, to January 1, 2023
Celebrate the new year with three days of fun events, performances, and activities. There will be fireworks from MacMillan Pier right after sunset, plus the annual Polar Bear Plunge on New Year’s day. On New Year’s eve, enjoy the Lite Bright Bike Ride.
First Night Chatham
December 31, 2022 | 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Appreciate the arts at First Night Chatham. You can attend over 70 performances and events at the celebration. Don’t miss the Noise Parade and fireworks at Veteran’s Field from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Various activities can keep you occupied throughout the event!
