Last night, for the third, but not final, time this month, James and I dined at Joe’s at the Barleyneck Inn. During the month of October, we rarely venture anywhere else. Why? Because their award winning wine list is discounted by 50% throughout the month so they can clear their wine cellar and restock with different vintages. To enjoy a bottle of Cakebread Cellars Pinot Noir for under $45 at a restaurant is unheard of – but we did just that last night. The food isn’t half bad either with specials featured each evening and everything from fish and chips to grilled fish, pasta dishes, and innovative pizzas. As far as I’m concerned, half priced wine is reason enough to book a last minute trip – we still have some rooms left this month and are now into winter rates. We hope to see you soon!
